Everyone should have known about the Rift going on between India and Canada.The war of words has gone too far with Justin  Trudeau's speech at Canadian  parliament. Under the hood,the current problem is the result of the activities of the supporters of Khalistan  in Canada, who aim for a separate country for Sikhs in Punjab ,against the integrity of a nation like India.

Justin Trudeau's return flight after the G20 was delayed in India, exacerbating the problem. The Canadian Parliament felt that India deliberately ignored him during the G20.

In fact, Indians have a good impression of him. Justin Trudeau is the son of former Canadian Prime Ministe Pierre Trudeau who paved the way for the prosperity of today's Canada. Graduated in Education from Columbia University. After studying humanities, mathematics and drama, he became a youth leader. He welcomed classmate Sophie Gregoire as his life partner.

His resemblance to Interstellar hero Matthew McConaughey is very evident in those photos. Trudeau is also the father of three children (Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrin). Indians might be wondering why Truedo legalized cannabis. However for a country where people are frozen to death it might be a necessity. 

However due to personal reasons they broke up this  August.

Sikhs make up 2.1 percent of the Canadian population. Justin Trudeau now needs the support of the New Democratic Party (NDP), a Sikh party, to stay in power.

Canada has expelled the top official of RO, the Indian intelligence agency, accusing India of involvement in the June 18 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a pro-Khalistan leader and plumbing business owner at a Sikh temple in British Columbia.

Canada's current disclosure is that this allegation is based on a report by the spy intelligence agency Five Eyes. Five Eyes is a joint Internet-based spy agency of five countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada respectively.

India however has categorically denied these allegations.

In response, India also sacked their official.

Hardeep, who came to Canada using a fake passport from Jalandhar in India, was about to be caught by the police and married a Canadian woman  and thus obtained Canadian citizenship.

India declared him as a terrorist after accusing him of masterminding the bomb attack in Ludhiana, Punjab. India has also announced a reward for those who help in his arrest.

During the partition of India, the British cut Punjab into two, and it  led to mass murders and harassments due to regional calamity between Muslims and Hindus. 

Then came  Operation 'Blue Star'  at the  Golden Temple which was an operation to kill terrorists who were hiding out in Sikh Golden temple under the order of Indira Gandhi.The  response  to this operation, from some members of Sikhs,  lead to the  assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. 

Due to this, an  anti-Sikh sentiment did  arise in India which made matters worse.Then came recent Punjab farmers strike which broke out to a mini war between Punjab farmers and the ruling party. The strength of anti-Indian sentiments   among the Khalistani should be understood in context of all these events. 

Babbar Khalsa International ( BKI) is a banned terrorist organization in India. Its aim was to create an independent Sikh state, Khalistan, in Punjab. The NIA has issued lookout notices for some of its members following the ongoing problems. A reward of a million has been announced for the capture of 2 and up to half of it for the remaining 3 persons. Lawrence Bishnoi, who had issued death threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan from jail, along with his right-hand man Goldie Brar in Canada, killed Sidhu Moose Wala, who is very famous for his Punjabi music albums on YouTube.This did occur immediately after removing his police protection.

Sidhu Musewala, who joined the Indian National Congress in 2021, has also openly expressed support for gun culture and Khalistan sympathies in his albums. He also criticized the AAP party. He described them as 'Gaddar' aka cheats in his album Scapegoat. When AAP came to power,they temporarily removed the protection of many opposition party leaders including him .Unfortunately, this resulted in his murder. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted his condolences "Deeply shocked and saddened by the murder of promising Congress leader and talented artist, Sidhu Moosewala" after his sudden demise.

India has stopped issuing visas to Canedians for now. This can effect tourism industry in India as lot of Canedians visit India every year.And there is conflict in trade deal between both nations now. There is also rumours that Pakistan spy agency ISI had a secret meeting with Khalistan members at Canada called as 'Plan K'. Indian government has taken this as an opportunity to settle it scores with the Khalistan, It has reclaimed the properties of 19 khalistany terrorists recently.

In the recent reports Royal Canada Mount police has questioned  Pakistan based spy agency ISI agents located at Canada, after the allegations that ISI might have played a role in this. 

Anyway, it would be nice if things ended with this. Canada should also be careful ,so that USA shall not cause a new headache due to this in the midst of the Ukraine war. This is a project that should unite all Americans. The Washington has already got a policy that "domestic terrorism has no place in our society".It has limits in supporting Canada policies, for indirectly becoming a fertail soil, for seeding  the  so-called Indian domestic terrorists through migration. Indian foreign miniser  at his UN speach made it clear that India is at the side of 'Peace' and will have a '0 tolerance' for terrorism.He said “Having borne the brunt of cross border terrorism for decades, India firmly advocates a ‘zero-tolerance’ approach

If the pro-American countries split and stand on two sides in the Ukraine war, it will create a bigger crisis. Just as India has not forgotten that there are Indians in Canada, Canada has also realized that India is now the face of the Global South. Canada has banned international sikh youth federation and Babbar Khalsa International organisations after these incidents.India has asked to limit the Canadian diplomats present in India in  proportion to Indian diplomats in Canada.These issues  can be resolved through bilateral talks at this stage.Return  of friendship between the two democracies is truly a need of the world.India has backed Canada-proposed amendment condemning Hamas to UN resolution on Gaza war. And Trudeau's has recently attended the Deewali celebrations held in Canada. Below quotation really emphasis the need of hour.
