Rahul Gandhi was born in New Delhi's Holy Family Hospital on 19 June 1970, as the first child of Rajeev Gandhi and Sonia.After his grandmother, Indira Gandhi's tragic assassination he was forced to do home schooling due to security concerns. He was again forced to move from  Harvard University to  Rollins college after his father's assassination by LTTE with a different name 'Rahul Vinci'.He then did his masters in Philosophy from Trinity College.It is important to understand the negative impacts those tragic incidents bestowed upon him and why he chose philosophy.

Years later  in a speech he said.

"My grandmother told me she was going to die and my father...I told him he was going to die"

"For many years, we were quite upset and hurt, Now, I can look at it and say the person or the force that killed my father caused me tremendous pain.but somehow(we have) completely forgiven them,

The single biggest learning experience of  my life was my father’s death. There is no bigger experience than that".

He then joined management firm  'Monitor Deloitte' at London. After that he co-owned BackOps firm in UK which was dissolved in 2009.He made his  entry to Indian politics in 2004.

Sadly majority of Indians never embraced his mother Sonia Gandhi as their own. Italian and Foreigner looks should be the one to blame.  Being the widow of Rajeev Gandhi or good Fluency in Hindi didn't help, nor a perfectly worn Bengali Sari.

However people were happy when she took the control of congress,the ruling party from the likes of Seetharam Keasari during a turbulent time.

Congress and United Progressive Alliance power(UPA)  of congress before Modi's arrival to central politics in 2014. Most people thought Gandhi family was ruling Indian politics with rubber stamp placed at Prime minister post. At that point in time most Indians viewed  Gandhis as the uncrowned monarchs  of India. Making even prime ministers dancing at their commands.

Hence most of the indians  were indeed was not  clearly fond  of Rahul Gandhi when he announced his arrival to Indian political arena.Back then he wasn't much of a people's person.

Indians viewed him as a reluctant prince with looks of an Amul baby, who was, by legacy, entitled to the prime minister's throne.

May be he was bit worried of his fate as well.At north people started joking him as PAPPU, a useless without much capabilities.

He was also called as most eligible bachelor in the country. He also rumoured to have a few relationships.

Recenlty Lalu prasad Yadav adviced him "to get married". It's bit  difficult for a person at his level have a proper family and being single may be his answer to BJPs accussation of nepotism. He recently said he is waiting for woman with qualities of his grandmother and mother. It will be a tough job to find some one like that.People should respect his privacy.

Under UPA there saw a list of corruption scandals namely in 

Telecom, railways, coal, land, and sports ministries.Then the most unfortunate thing happened, the Nirbhaya rape case, a physiotherappist woman intern killed,after a henious gang rape, inside a running  bus in Delhi. This  pored kerosin into fire of people anger.This incident also gave birth to AAP (aam admi)party.

From 2014 we saw rise of the BJP under Narendra Modi.RSS ideologies and Hinduthva supporting right wing nationalisam has clealy dominated politics in India after that.Rahul Gandhi was made congress president in 2017.In 2019 elections Rahul won from Vayanad, a hill station in kerala, however he lost his sitting seat in Amethi.Rahul has a very good rapport with people of kerala, his trust in KC venugopal General Secretary of AICC is there to see.Apart being an MP of Vayanad, he also visits there for his scooba diving hobby.

Rahul Gandhi hugging Modi and winking later back in his seat, has created lot of controversy.

It was later explained that he was winking at Jyotiraditya  Scindia  who was about to leave congress and join BJP at that point in time.It was wonderful to see Rahul hugging Modi. Two people with very different ideologies going to define future of India in their own ways.

In 2019 Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul's younger sister also formally joined politics as general secretary of AIC.

 Indian National Congress won only in just 52 seats, failing to get 10% of the seats needed to claim the post of Leader of the Opposition.

Rahul had to resign his post as Congress president by taking responsibility of such a bad defeat.

Rahul became a politician with layers during covid. He made multi-faceted personality known to people through meaning ful discussions with subject matter experts,migrants and health department . He voiced against the delay in vaccine supply. 

Rahul was blamed much for him not paying visit to punjab farmers during their nation wide strike although he and Priyanka went to console punjab family members of protestors, who were allegedly killed by union minister Ajay kumar Mishra owned vehicles during Lakhimpur Kheri  farmer's protest.

By the begining of 2022 congress faced serous existential challenges.The party was in power only in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.After INC loss in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and  All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) parties started to be viewed as  new alternatives to congress.on September 7, 2022 Rahul gandhi started his historic Bharath Jodo Yathra. This yathra can be compared to Long March of Mao Zedong or Dandi Yathra by Mahathma.

The slogan of Jodo yathra was to protest against the politics of fear, bigotry and prejudice, and the economics of livelihood destruction, increasing unemployment and growing inequality.This yathra gave a significant transformation and new life for both Rahul and INC.Rahul and his companion's covered 4,080 kilometres from KanyKumari to Srinagar.

He also thinks that,

"The Congress as I see does not belong to me or to you, but it belongs to the whole nation .” 

His view on Hindutvava, an ideology of right wing nationalist lead by BJP is as follows.

"I am a Hindu, but I am not a Hindutvavadi. All of you are Hindus. Mahatma Gandhi was a Hindu but Nathuram Godse was a Hindutvava"

He believes that  Ideologies spreading hate can not be beaten  by bullets however they can be uprooted through ballots

He was also never silent on Adani  issue. He kept on voicing against the induatrislist blaming him for profit creation through illegal shell companies, aerodromes privatisation to the groups name and on  cheap coal  import from indonesia and australia and increased power prices by burning coal.He also bled the group of taking Rs 32,000 crore "from the pockets of the poorest  of the country".

He had taken great courage to visit Manipur during the ongoing ethnic riot Christians and Hindus .

And he was furious on  his return to Parliament after his MP staus reinstated.He spoke there in Hindi against ruling government , "You have divided it, broken it. " Indian army could bring peace to Manipur in one day but is not being used, " because you want to kill India in Manipur ","Our prime minister has not gone to Manipur because for him Manipur is not in India"

Rahul gandhi has a very complex relation with Golden Temple.His grandmother Indira Gandhi was killed aftermath of the Golden temple blue star operation, due to which 500 sikhs and 80 army men lost thier life.

She was killed by 2 of her Sikh bodyguards Satwant Singh and Beant Singh.As a young boy it hit him very hard,  same policemen, who taught him how to play badminton, massacring his own grandmother with bullets.However he visited gold temple practiced 'langar’ by sitting on the floor.

He spent most of his time in the community kitchen serving food to devotes.

After Modi government's recent row with Khalistan in Canada and congress  lose  to AAP in Punjab such a visit is important and sends a clear political message against hatred.

He took a lift on a delivery boy scooter   during the recent past election at karnataka. He discussed with him about the issues gig(temporary )  workers are facing and corruption.Congress won that election by defeating BJP.He also travelled with truck drivers in India and USA to understand truckers face.

He visited coolies in Anand Vihar railway station recently to understand their problems. This was after their wish to meet him.He even wore their uniform.

He makes an interesting and honest observations as below

"Unfortunately, birthday celebrations is only for a few pow ioerful friends of the government. Kisan, farmers and mazdoor have nothing to celebrate

chaukidar chor hai(The watchman(govt) is a thief), GST ( Gabbar Singh Tax) are some of the famous slogans from Rahul mocking ruling party. BJP supporters do mock him calling these visits under tight security as PR stunts targetting election. However these visits will clearly help him to understand india from grassroots and will make him a fine leader when he finally gets into power.

He also stands firm on government role in woman empowerment, LGBQT rights,rural development, education for everyone 

and building employment opportunities.

"You cannot build a country if you don’t involve women. India men have to start viewing women as their equals.” 

He also went tough on prime minister and described "demonotisation as a tragedy that destroyed Indian economic progress and draw country once again back to poverty".

 The newly formed INDIA alliance  ,  is expected give a tough fight for Prime minister Modi's quest for achieving a third term.

If you think Modi is 'Present' Rahul is  the 'future' of India. BJP dont have a popular candidate after Modi's reign.Rahul gandhi is a unicorn in the indian  political world of sharks and whales.He is not trying to win 'aswamedhas' rather he is trying to fill hope happiness and equality in the hearts of people.

He is forseing an India without difference and hatred within it's citizens. If India is not  finding him worthy for the post of prime minister ,it will be the loss of the Indians, because Rahul has evolved from a crown prince to a true Gandhi."And he is indeed sharing love in his shop at this market of hatred.
