Thailand's mixed Doubles badminton partners Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai clinched the India Open 2024 Mixed Doubles title by defeating World No 5 Chinese duo of Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Ya Xin in straight sets 21-16, 21-16 in the finals held at IG Stadium, New Delhi on Sunday.

Women Singles

Chinese Taipei legend Tai Tzu Ying overcame her Malaysian Open final loss by winning the India Open 2024 women’s singles title against reigning Olympic champion Chen Yu Fei of China in straight sets 21-16, 21-12

Women Doubles

Former world champions Matsumoto/Nagahara from Japan won gold after beating Chinese pairs Zhang/Zheng in straight sets 21-12, 21-11

Men Singles

In the Men's singles final China’s Shi Yu Qi got the better of Hong Kong’s Lee Cheuk Yiu in a tough match in straits games 23-21 and 21-17, to win the Title.

It was once again a heart-breaking final loss for the home favourites , Indian Men's Doubles Duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty as they went down to World reigning Men’s Doubles World Champions from Korea Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae in a three-set thriller at a full-house KD Jadhav Indoor Hall.
