It was a privillage to watch Kento Momoto in 2019.He was playing like a dream.
His speed, net game, retriving skills, defence, deception skills and turning defence into attack were exceptional.
He looked like a legend in making.And there was only Antony Ginting who was able to be a worthy opponent.

With Victor Axelson away with injury they ruled badminton finals.
But then life is a tough game and was no exception for even the world number one. THEN came a real life smash which even Momota couldn't defend.
It came as a deadly road accident in Malaysia when he was returning after winning the Malasian Masters title.
A lorry hit the van Mommoto was travelling and the driver was killed instantly.Momota suffered career threatening injuries.
It cost him an eye surgery.He came back to the court after 2 years.However the anxieties and injuries after that accident were still haunting him.He lost the tokoyo olympics in 1st round.Here is Momota at world ranking 33 fighting against his fate to regain his glory.
It would be a treat for badminton lovers if Momoto can return to his prime and counter Victor axelson who is playing in beast mode.
No one even Ginting is able to face the Might of Axelson now.Only the likes of H. S. Prannoy from India is able to counter him.
Even without all the new expected accomplishments,Momoto will be remembered as a legend not just for the memories ,but for being a fighter who was fallen and yet rose from the ashes.
